How do you write cents?
For example, if you are paying $130.45, you will write “one hundred thirty and 45/100.” To write a check with cents, be sure to put the cents amount over 100. If the dollar amount is a round number, still include “and 00/100” for additional clarity.
We use a decimal point followed by two places to show cents. Here we show the same amounts of money using a dollar sign instead of a cent sign. We read $3.24 by saying, “3 dollars and 24 cents.” To read $0.20 we say, “20 cents.” We do not read the zero in the dollars place. To read $0.04 we just say “4 cents.”
A quarter, or 25 cents, is 0.25 of a dollar. Any time you have part of a whole, you can write it as a decimal.

Is it 20 cent or 20 cents?
20 cents is a coinage value in some systems using decimal currencies. While some countries use a 20-cent coin, some countries use a 25-cent coin instead of a 20-cent coin.
The cent sign is commonly a simple minuscule (lower case) letter c. In North America, the c is crossed by a diagonal stroke or a vertical line (depending on typeface), yielding the character ¢.

The U.S. Mint's official name for the coin is "cent" and the U.S. Treasury's official name is "one cent piece". The colloquial term penny derives from the British coin of the same name, which occupies a similar place in the British system.

Hence, 99 in words is ninety-nine.
94 in Words can be written as Ninety Four. If you have saved 94 dollars, then you can write, “I have just saved Ninety Four dollars.” Ninety Four is the cardinal number word of 94 which denotes a quantity.
